hi, I'm Yasmin

career coach. strategist. leadership coach. mother

I'm on a mission to help you
build a career & life with purpose

My superpower is the ability to bring the best out of people to achieve an outcome and help them truly believe in the best versions of themselves too. I am a career strategist, qualified leadership coach and a mother. It starts with deciding that you want more and you want to be back in control. I have been where you are, telling myself the same narrative: ➝ “It’s too risky.” ➝ “I’ll wait for the next bonus.” ➝ “Now isn’t the perfect time.” But months—or even years—pass, and nothing changes. Your confidence wanes. Your frustration grows. I know how you feel. Maybe you’re debating: ➝ Going for that next promotion. ➝ Pivoting to a new career. ➝ Taking the leap into solopreneurship and monetizing your skills. But right now, you feel: ➝ Stuck and unsure where to start. ➝ Lacking clarity and confidence. ➝ Drained by staying in a role that doesn’t align with your values. You know what you want: A career with flexibility, energy, autonomy, and impact. A life where you can: 🌟 Pursue your passions. 🌟 Live your values and ambitions on your terms. 🌟 Feel your most confident I can help.

my journey

I first became a people leader at 18. And I had no idea what I doing! I had barely any life experience, no leadership experience and only two years of actual work experience. Looking back it seems a bit ridiculous that I was given the job, especially over people more experienced and older. However I realised that I had a key strengths and passion for people that stood out even when others were lacking. 1) I know how to bring the best out of people to get the right outcome. I know how to help people lean into their strengths I know how to help believe in the best versions of themselves I know how to build trust 2) I am a quick learner I am inherently curious I am coachable and open to feedback I like to improve stuff. Leaning into those two skills gave me a job I wasn’t technically qualified to have A job that then enabled me to straight into management jobs out of uni Leading a team of 50 at 26 Working with global brands by the age of 28 Earning six figures by 33. Starting my own coaching business aged 35 There were other pivotal moments along the way, moments that built my confidence through making hard decisions, facing fears, prioritising and persevering. Moments like coming out, becoming a mother, getting over my crippling fear of driving and changing my entire career in my thirties. I saw how I could combine my experience as a coach and consultant to help people embrace their strengths, build confidence and think 10x to go after the career they want. I hate seeing bright smart people (especially women) doubt themselves, compress their dreams and believe in societal “norms”. So think BOLD careers was born and here we are.  I'm ready to help you go after that next career step with clarity and confidence if you are.

get to know me a bit more

I am a mother to a funny, very sassy and confident pre-schooler called Sophia but whilst I am a mother, my experience of becoming a parent was more like that of a Dad as my wife did all the hard work going through IVF and carrying her during Covid,  I am a huge advocate for flexibility, I have seen first hand the difference it made to my relationship with my daughter and to my own wellbeing; physically and mentally.  Being mixed race, LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent I am part of a number of underrepresented communities so I am passionate about people being able to bring their full selves to work and the importance of psychological safety and emotional intelligence in the workplace.  I truly believe that the foundation of any great working relationship is trust and connection. I develop brilliant relationships with the individuals I coach and I am fully invested in your success way beyond our time working together. I also.... I live in Kent (zone 6 in London by the skin of my teeth). Think that pineapple doesn't belong on pizza and celery should not exist.  Value humour, candour and empathy above all else Am a trained barista and unfortunately therefore a coffee snob. Get very excited about good food and eating out is my favourite thing to do.  Prefer gin in an espresso martini instead of vodka  Am in the process of learning to run a 5k as I feel running is an essential life skill.  Wanted to be an airforce pilot when I was younger but I am pretty blind (-5.5 in each eye) so that dream was shot down aged 6.
